How do I get a repair quote from Carafix?
You can get a free quote in two ways: (1) Fill out the “Request a Quote” form on this website – we will respond within 24 business hours, or (2) Call us directly at either our Arundel or Currumbin location. We encourage you to include photos of the damage so we can provide a more accurate quote.
Does Carafix work with insurance companies?
Yes, Carafix is an approved repairer for most major insurance companies in Australia including NRMA, Youi, RACQ, Suncorp, QBE and Allianz. We can work directly with your insurance provider to handle all paperwork and claims, saving you time and stress.
How much does caravan repair typically cost?
Cost depends on the type and extent of damage. For example: minor water leak repairs typically range from 200−500, standard annual servicing around 350−600, brake or suspension repairs from 400−1,200, and hail or accident damage can be higher. We always provide a detailed, transparent quote before starting any work with no hidden fees.
Does Carafix do on-site repairs or only workshop repairs?
Carafix has fully-equipped service workshops at both our Arundel and Currumbin locations – featuring hoists, specialised tools and a wide range of spare parts. Most repairs are completed in our workshops to ensure quality. For emergency situations or vehicles that cannot be towed, please contact us and we will assess whether on-site support is possible.
How long does a caravan repair take?
Repair time depends on the type of work. Routine servicing or minor repairs are typically completed within 1-2 days. Brake, electrical, plumbing or suspension repairs usually take 2-5 days. Hail damage, accident repairs or major damage can take 1-3 weeks depending on severity and parts availability. We will provide regular updates and notify you immediately of any changes.
Does Carafix offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes, Carafix offers a 6 to 12 month warranty on all repairs, depending on the type of service. Our warranty covers both parts and labour. For replacement parts, we pass through the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Please keep your invoice and contact us if any issues arise after your repair is completed.
